The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the nearest metro station, making it easy to explore the city and visit popular attractions such as the Vatican. Several reviews mentioned the great location, with places like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Coliseum area easily accessible by bus or metro. The hotel staff were helpful and provided maps and recommendations for places to see and things to do in the area. Guests also appreciated the clean and spacious rooms, with comfortable beds and amenities such as air conditioning and private bathrooms.
Some guests mentioned that they had to pay in cash upon arrival, which may be inconvenient for travelers who prefer to pay with credit cards.

Location, comfortable rooms and excellent staff with perfect restaurant recommendations.
A little more money than I thought we agreed to, but it may have been my poor record keeping.

Thank you Giorgio we enjoyed staying at Ancient Romance. The location was outstanding as we were able to walk everywhere. Although the Metro, buses were also so close. We will be back.
Early morning garbage collection downstairs. Close the window at night.

As bike riders, we loved the central location of the hotel, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast at the nearby café was a great addition. The staff were helpful and our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious.
Felt like part of the family, no complaints at all.

Convenience to Vatican & surrounding city.
Hard to find unless brought in by someone. Need to keep phone number handy to call for access to building first time.

Ideal location for visiting the Vatican City. Just a few minutes walk to the Vatican Museums. Metro station close by so all other sights are very accessible. Friendly and helpful staff. Spotlessly clean. Access to tea, coffee and snacks at all times. Rooms were very quiet.
Breakfast was mediocre. Door to B & B a little hard to find.

Excellent staff, polite and responsive. Charming, comfortable, and spotless rooms. Ideal location near Vatican Museum and Piazza San Pietro. Easy access to metro. Great shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Beautiful building. Helpful staff. Like being in a small apartment with keys to building and room. Quiet building, no city noise. Close proximity to Vatican museums.
Felt like in a fairy, no reason to complain.

very good location, within walking distance to vatican city. Very clean room and they provided me a crib (pack and play). Not all rooms are in the same building. My room was in a separate building about 2 blocks away. The hotel staff is very good and helpful, one lady was hard to understand but Giorgo was great and very helpful. They arranged a taxi for me, 42 euro which is not bad considering I paid about 40 euros just to get from termini station to the hotel.
Was hard traveling with a baby, elevator was small which made it hard for stroller and luggage to fit. And there was plenty of stairs to use before we even got to the elevator, not baby friendly in that aspect but overall it was managable.

Excellent location, within 5 minutes walk from San Petro Square.
Very noisy area and breakfast poorly with not so fresh pastry. You can only eat yogurt and drink fruit juice and maybe a coffee.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with easy access to the nearest subway station and within walking distance to various attractions in the city. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering assistance with transportation to and from the airport.
Some guests may find the street noise from nearby vendors to be disruptive, especially for those who prefer a quiet sleeping environment.

We stayed at Sleeping Romance. With the price we paid, we are happy that the place is safe and clean. Michael and the lady we talked with were really nice to deal with. We don't have any complaint. Ed ladores
The shower room is too small and we are not used to that although we understand the reason for it.

It is near the Vatican City and near the metro which made travelling around Rome very easy. Being able to make a coffee or tea and help yourself to snacks at any time was marvellous.
The air-conditioning unit was very noisy and not very effective.
